I took me more than 6 months to finish this book. It took off ok and was still ok for the next 50 pages or so. It was after the th page mark that it got really boring.

I just kept putting it aside and favouring other books. I read 12 other books before finishing this one!!! I must admit,though,it got exciting towards the end,but it couldn't make up for the very boring moddle part.

But,with all that said,Im glad that I read it,because it was a different experience and I gained knowledge for a cult I took me more than 6 months to finish this book.

I was not familiar with the Countess Cosel, or her life, until now, but her story is really sad. At first I was not too keen on her, however I understand why she made those choices.

Towards the end of the novel I was rooting for her, and I was hoping she will achieve her desires, because she really deserved it.
