10 Confusing Movie Endings Finally ExplainedWhen something finally happens, it's too late and it wasn't unexpected. This is Rosemary's Baby, except we've all seen that about 3 decades ago, and it's not a shock.
The ending just feels cheap and unsatisfying. I don't expect much from horror, but this failed. Potential galore, but wasted. I nearly didn't bother watching this movie because the star rating was so low.
But I'm glad I did. Now I wonder how many other gems I missed because I won't bother if it's below 3 stars. Any way, this was a pretty solid movie.
Good acting. My problem was the ending. If feels like they didn't know how to wrap it up. The "Shadowman" was really creepy looking.
Great job with that. As others have mentioned, this movie rips off a lot of other better? Not really But you are able to feel for a couple of the characters their acting was good enough , such that it does maintain some level of suspense.
That was at least something I feel this movie did do above par on I think my biggest problem with the movie is that it does drag on until the last mins or so Also feel the movie was a little devoid of action I don't want to give any spoilers, but there were a couple scenes with emotions running hot that I thought "might" erupt and probably should have All in all, it's "o One person found this helpful.
Typical of a slenderman yes this is a shadowman but c'mon this is just like the slow moving slenderman movies where nothing happens for a very long time.
I would be annoyed by that but what I found more annoying were the pointless sound stings. So she walks in front of a wall at night and what is obviously her own shadow crosses the wall but they put a sound sting.
Early in the movie they do a smash cut to a guy grinding a piece of metal with a really loud sting after she walks into a dark closet. I paused and went frame by frame but saw nothing, just her own silhouette no not the shadowman silhouette, hers.
Why employ a substanceless sting? They used a dog barking sting twice. In the end the actual Shadowman never takes any action as you would expect it to because this is one of those human darkness inside movies that just happens to have a shadow demon every now and again.
It has an agenda that is never explained because the monster is incidental to this movie it is all about the insipid human players in the film.
In other words boring. I thought It was a good movie. Good acting, Good plot, Good quality. It had some pretty creepy moments. I really enjoyed it.
Why did they even mention Slenderman in the title,you only see him for 10 minutes. We thought we were watching the wrong movie.
This movie could've been so much scarier,I'm so disappointed!!! Characters seem to be written by a nonhuman writer.
The characters were not believable and unrealistic, and the movie is very slow. Not worth the time lost. If you're looking for a knocked-off version of a 'Something Awful' meme that got a kid stabbed, this is the film for you.
